Join General Dynamics Mission Systems as a Systems Engineer on the Regional Strike Programs program. This role is ideal for engineers interested in Test & Integration, Requirements Analysis, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), or Hardware-Systems Engineering. You'll work on mission-critical defense technology, contribute to cutting-edge systems design, and grow your career through mentorship, leadership development programs, and rotational opportunities. At GDMS, Systems Engineers can advance into technical leadership, program management, or advanced engineering specialties. As a Systems Engineer on RSP, you'll be part of a cross-functional engineering team delivering hardware, software and systems solutions. This Systems Engineer role may focus on one or more of the following areas: Test & Integration Engineering: hardware/software validation, verification, and performance testing Requirements Engineering: documenting, analyzing, and managing system requirements Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): system modeling, simulations, and design analysis Hardware-Systems Engineering: design, integration, and troubleshooting of hardware systems Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related STEM. Agile experience preferred. 2+ years of professional experience in Systems Engineering, including Test & Integration, Requirements Analysis, Model Based Systems Engineering or Hardware Systems work (Master's degree may substitue for experience). Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills. Experience in Systems Engineering, including Test & Integration, Requirements, MBSE, or Hardware-Systems. Knowledge of systems design, MBSE modeling, and simulation. Familiarity with requirements management tools (DOORS, Cameo, or similar). Experience with defense, aerospace, or mission-critical systems. Key Responsibilities Execute systems engineering activities in Test & Integration, Requirements, MBSE, or Hardware-Systems, depending on focus area. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system performance, reliability, and compliance. Document, review, and manage system requirements using requirements management tools and MBSE. Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus 1 year of relevant work experience; or Master's degree. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
