Data, Cloud & DevOps Architect focuses on designing, scaling, and managing secure cloud architecture, automated DevOps infrastructure, and specialized data engineering platforms. This role acts as a strategic technical coordinator, enabling advanced AI/ML capabilities, supporting production-grade scientific data pipelines (including genomics and bioinformatics workflows), and overseeing modern workplace platform governance within complex, regulated environments.Cloud & Infrastructure Transformation: Design and deploy highly available, multi-AZ cloud architecture on AWS; automate end-to-end infrastructure provisioning, compliance scanning, and cloud environment configuration using Terraform and CloudFormation.
CI/CD & Cloud Operations: Architect and manage secure CI/CD pipelines on Kubernetes using tools like GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Helm, and Jenkins; establish operational monitoring dashboards and performance metrics.
AI/ML Platform Enablement: Deploy scalable vector databases (such as Weaviate and Qdrant) and build secure cloud backend infrastructure to support GenAI applications and MLOps integration.
Scientific Data Pipelines Support: Onboard, integrate, and provide operational support for scalable Nextflow-based scientific data pipelines via the Seqera Platform; manage and troubleshoot Nexla production data pipelines for transformation and delivery across S3, APIs, and databases.
Modern Workplace Governance: Oversee enterprise adoption, governance, and automated provisioning models for Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Power Platform solutions.
Financial & Cost Governance: Spearhead cloud spend optimization initiatives through rightsizing, savings plans, intelligent workload scheduling, and dedicated FinOps reporting dashboards.
Experience & Certifications: Extensive experience in data-focused cloud architecture and technical project coordination. Key certifications include Project Management Professional (PMP), AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer, and Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
Data Engineering & Orchestration: Proven expertise with Seqera Platform, Nextflow, Nexla, AWS Batch, and managing large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines for scientific or high-performance compute workflows.
Cloud Architecture & Security: Deep knowledge of the AWS Well-Architected Framework, Zero Trust models, multi-account
