Position Description:

The Systems Architect designs and supports the system level environment required to deliver and operate modern enterprise solutions, with a strong emphasis on configuration, readiness, and supportability.

This role works across architecture, engineering, DevOps, and delivery teams to ensure the technical environment is coherent, secure, and ready to support build and migration activities.

This role is part of an AI first software engineering organization where Artificial Intelligence is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle. Candidates must demonstrate practical experience leveraging AI to improve productivity, quality, and delivery outcomes using modern AI assisted development practices.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

.Design and support system level architecture for enterprise platforms and environments.
.Define environment configuration, deployment readiness, and technical setup standards across dev/test and shared services.
.Collaborate with solution architecture and engineering teams to keep application, platform, and integration decisions aligned.
.Support cloud based delivery and environment administration, with Microsoft Azure experience preferred.
.Contribute to system integration design, configuration management, and release readiness.
.Troubleshoot complex technical issues across environments, services, and dependencies.
.Support deployment, validation, and transition activities across build and migration phases.
.Document system architecture decisions, configuration standards, and operational dependencies.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

.8+ years of experience in systems architecture, infrastructure architecture, or enterprise application delivery.
.Experience designing and supporting enterprise systems in complex, multi team environments.
.Strong hands on experience with system configuration, environment setup, and platform support.
.Experience with cloud based architecture and delivery, with Microsoft Azure preferred.
.Working knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, messaging, and distributed environments.
.Demonstrated experience working within AI enabled Software Development Lifecycle (AI SDLC) environments.
.Experience using the Business Model Assisted Development (BMAD) framework or comparable AI native delivery practices.
.Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD, release management, and technical change control.
.Ability to work across architecture, engineering, operations, and delivery functions.
.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
.Experience supporting large scale migration or modernization programs.
.Experience with container platforms, Kubernetes, and cloud networking.
.Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, and operational support tooling.
.Experience in highly available, mission critical enterprise environments.
.Experience within regulated industries.
.Azure or cloud architecture certifications.
.Experience leveraging AI assisted engineering tools to improve architecture and delivery efficiency.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000-$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
