Position Description: The Process Architect defines the business process architecture and workflow model that drives orchestration, state handling, and process consistency across the business process practice.
This role translates business rules, timers, exceptions, and process steps into clear orchestration designs and reusable workflow patterns.
This role is part of an AI first software engineering organization where Artificial Intelligence is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle. Candidates must demonstrate practical experience leveraging AI to improve productivity, quality, and delivery outcomes using modern AI assisted development practices.
Your future duties and responsibilities: .Define the process architecture, workflow model, and orchestration approach for the business process practice.
.Translate business rules, state transitions, timers, and exceptions into executable process designs.
.Lead design for Temporal based orchestration, long running workflows, and process coordination.
.Work with business analysts, engineers, and architects to ensure processes are traceable and supportable.
.Establish process design standards, reusable workflow patterns, and governance checkpoints.
.Support process simulation, validation, and operational readiness for complex workflows.
.Promote AI assisted design and BMAD practices to improve process modelling and documentation.
.Drive process simplification, consistency, and scalability across the workstream.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: .10+ years of experience in business process architecture, workflow design, or solution architecture.
.Strong experience modelling business processes, state transitions, and rules based workflows.
.Hands on experience with Temporal or comparable orchestration platforms.
.Experience translating business requirements into executable process designs and technical flows.
.Experience working with integration teams, engineering, and business stakeholders.
.Demonstrated experience working within AI enabled Software Development Lifecycle (AI SDLC) environments.
.Experience using BMAD or comparable AI native delivery practices.
.Strong communication, facilitation, and analytical skills.
.Experience in telecom or other regulated environments is preferred.
.Ability to define governance and support ongoing process evolution.
Preferred Qualifications
.Experience with BPMN, UML, or other process modelling techniques.
.Experience with business rules engines, timers, orchestration, or event driven workflow models.
.Experience with telecom or critical operations environments.
.Experience with AI assisted process modelling or documentation generation.
.Experience with continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
.Experience with Temporal certifications or related workflow tools.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000-$145,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
