Position Description: The Systems Analyst IV position will provide dedicated technical support to the Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC), Deputy Commandant for Information (DCI), Chief Information Officer (CIO), Information Command Control (ICC), Cybersecurity (CY) division. The primary focus of this role is the refinement, management, and sustainment of a leadership dashboard hosted within the Advana suite. Specifically leveraging Databricks and Qlik to ingest, process, secure, and present Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) data for command and control (C2) decision making.
This position is located in our Arlington, Virginia office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities: The Senior System Admin / SME will mature an existing prototype dashboard solution into a fully operational, governed, and secure enterprise capability. The scope of this effort encompasses:
. Pipeline Engineering & Ingestion Gatekeeping: Refining and managing automated data ingestion streams from eMASS endpoints using Qlik to profile, sanitize, and validate data at the ingestion threshold.
. Centralized Data Governance: Organizing, structuring, and securing ingestion data within the Advana Databricks environment.
. Dashboard Refinement, Display, & Presentation: Developing, optimizing, and maintaining highly intuitive, high performance Qlik Sense visualization assets that present leadership level cybersecurity posture and RMF metrics for C2 decision making.
. Data Formatting & Exportability: Designing standardized data extraction utilities and automated reporting mechanisms to allow secure, compliant data formatting and export in multiple formats for external stakeholders.
. Advana Suite Interoperability: Ensuring the core data pipeline integrates seamlessly with broader Advana tools.
. Documentation & Lifecycle Support: Authoring and maintaining comprehensive technical and training artifacts, ensuring the capability is fully documented for audit, operational transitions, and daily operation.
. Knowledge Transfer : Actively preparing designated government personnel to be able to action administrative and engineering control of the pipeline, data governance layers, and visual dashboards through OJT training, documentation, and joint running activities.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Advana Environment Experience: Demonstrate, hands on experience navigating and developing technical assets within the OUSD(C) Advana platform environment, including awareness of its integrated enclaves and tools.
. Databricks Engineering: Advanced proficiency with Databricks, including PySpark, Spark SQL, Delta Lake optimization, and implementing fine grained security policies using Unity Catalog (specifically establishing dynamic row level and column level masking rules).
. Qlik Sense Mastery: Extensive experience with Qlik Sense development, including writing complex Qlik load scripts, creating custom expressions using Set Analysis, developing Qlik extensions, and managing Qlik Sense management console (QMC) security rules.
eMASS & API Integration: Deep technical understanding of the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) schema, data structures (POA&M milestones, hardware/software listings, system boundaries), and API integration/authentication mechanisms.
. Database & Data Modeling: Expert level SQL skills and experience designing relational data models, dimensionally modeled data warehouses (Star/Snowflake schemas), and automated ETL/ELT pipelines.
. Education: DoD 8570.01 M / DoD 8140.03 Compliance: Must meet Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II baseline certification requirements.
Desired qualifications/non essential skills required:
Familiarity with DoW terminology, USMC systems specifically.

To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $70,800.00 $172,400.00.
