Full Job Description
Systems Administrator to join our team in Chantilly, VA. This is an onsite position.

The administrator will support the installation, operation, and maintenance of all current and future Information Systems. This position is a part of a centralized team of systems administrators.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintain and troubleshoot customer Windows workstations both on-site and remotely while providing day-to-day administrative support, including user access management, software installations, and file restores.
  • Resolve incoming service tickets using diagnostic techniques, walking customers through step-by-step problem-solving processes to ensure high-quality, timely resolutions.
  • Track, route, and escalate complex issues to appropriate support teams, maintaining end-to-end oversight to guarantee complete incident resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Log all service requests, system incidents, and maintenance tasks accurately in defined tracking software to maintain compliance with standard operating procedures.
  • Author, review, and update standard operating procedures, technical manuals, and operational documentation using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proactively learn fundamental operations of new software and hardware equipment to adapt to evolving technical environments and customer needs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through clear written and oral communication, maintaining a professional demeanor while working independently or collaboratively with team members.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 1+ years of experience in Information Technology
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows 2008/2012/2016 Servers, Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2007/2010/2016
  • Working knowledge of vSphere, Horizon View, data backups, and antivirus software
  • Basic networking experience, including TCPIP
  • Experience with deploying workstation images or zero clients
  • Experience using a Service Desk ticketing system, such as Remedy or ServiceNow
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification required, e.g., Security+ CE


Preferred Qualifications:
  • ITIL Foundations certification highly desired
  • Willingness to work after normal duty hours (nights and weekends) as needed
  • Previous customer service experience strongly desired


Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Must have a current or active TS/SCI clearance and be willing and able to obtain a CI polygraph


Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.


The projected compensation range for this position is $71,400.00-$118,700.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
