Full Job Description
Dobbs Defense Solutions is seeking a System Administrator to provide the Magnetic Silencing Facility (MSF) program general Information Technology (IT) lifecycle support for hardware/software systems at MSF sites. The IT Systems Administrator will also maintain configuration management of software, as well as support maintaining the system master disks/files to facilitate on site troubleshooting and hardware/software systems restoration of the MSF site computer network systems. Duties Basic duties to include: • Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, networking equipment, and IT infrastructure • Monitor performance, resolve bottlenecks, and optimize system efficiency • Perform regular backups and test recovery procedures • Apply security patches and updates to mitigate vulnerabilities • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and user support issues • Manage software installation, upgrades, and license compliance • Track and maintain IT asset inventory, conduct audits, and oversee asset disposal • Maintain system documentation, record changes, and prepare monthly reports for the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) Qualifications Required education and experience: • BS/BA with 10+ years' relevant experience, or • MS/MA with 7+ years' relevant experience Required Clearance • Secret Working Environment • On-site • Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS
