Responsibilities

  • Travel occasionally to the data center if located in the greater Phoenix area
  • Administer, support, maintain, and monitor Microsoft server, enterprise storage, VM infrastructures, and Office 365
  • Conduct root-cause analysis on recurring issues and escalate as needed to ensure resolution
  • Research, analyze, select, and procure solutions, equipment, and software
  • Manage projects for new solution implementation and existing solution upgrades
  • Follow change control procedures for production environment changes
  • Provide periodic reporting for capacity planning, performance measuring, and compliance

In this role you will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, andmaintenance of systems hardware/software and related infrastructure. You will also be conducting technicalresearch and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This role is based in Phoenix, AZ and follows a hybrid work schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Occasional travel to data center, needs to be located in greater Phoenix area
  • Daily system administration, support, maintenance and monitoring of the Microsoft server,enterprise storage, VM infrastructures, and Office 365
  • Perform root-cause analysis on recurring problems. Responsible for escalating, as necessary, to internal and/orexternal support resources while retaining ownership for driving to final resolution
  • Research, analysis, selection and procurement of solutions, equipment, and software
  • Manage projects related to implementation of new solutions and upgrades of existing solutions
  • Adhere to change control procedures when implementing changes to the production environment
  • Periodic reporting to support capacity planning, performance measuring/tuning, and compliance
  • Maintain, test, and enforce corporate-wide hardware and software standards
  • After hours support as needed to sustain systems and service levels
  • Resolve escalations from the Service Desk related to systems issues
  • Other responsibilities as requested by leadership

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in office, out in the field and construction sites
  • Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
