Job Description

Make a difference for national security by joining a team of dedicated IT professionals who will sustain, modernize and transform the enterprise IT capabilities for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). The Air Force, Space & Intel Business Group (AFSI) of SAIC is seeking a SysOps Team Lead to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA.

Specifically, on the DCSA One IT program, SAIC will provide an enterprise IT solution that delivers highly secure and adaptable IT infrastructure, provide customer support, and cutting-edge technologies that support operations and advance the DCSA mission under a single IT environment (i.e., One IT).

Job Description

- Oversees and leads lifecycle operations, maintenance, testing, security, availability, administration, and optimization of customer's server infrastructure, as part of the overall strategic objective of the IT modernization and IT initiatives to provide an improved flexible and evolving enterprise IT environment to support the customer's mission IAW with DoD policies and procedures and commonly utilized industry best practices.
- Responsible for lifecycle of all IT environments, including cloud development, pre-production and testing, production, failover enclave, Virtual - Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and shared space physical environments.
- Coordinates, directs, and performs software installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and version currency and refresh of infrastructure hardware, software, and service components, including testing and deploying all required patches and updates.
- Monitors enterprise operations, system configurations, and traffic to provide optimization, capacity management, security, and improvement recommendations.
- Researches, recommends and implements appropriate technology insertions for the server infrastructure to improve performance,
reliability and security.
- Oversees domain access and account and domain administration services to include systems and data access, share management, elevated privilege accounts report, access/activity log searches, account creation, and user access rights.
- Manages enterprise input and output resources and devices.
- Ensures encrypted incremental and full system backups and off-site storage, as well as system and data restoration and archiving of file data and user information.
- Oversees resolution of server issues using applicable protocols, and documents technology, solutions, plans, and deployments. Provide inputs into the Activity Report.

Qualifications

It is required that the SysOps Team Lead have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Fourteen (14) or more years of progressively responsible information technology (IT) experience, including significant experience supporting enterprise systems and infrastructure operations.
• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated technical leadership, supervisory, or management experience within an enterprise IT environment.
• Must have a current Security+ CE equivalent, or higher.
• Demonstrated experience leading, managing, mentoring, and coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams responsible for enterprise infrastructure and systems operations.
• Demonstrated technical knowledge and/or operational experience across multiple IT disciplines, including Windows, enterprise patch management, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), VMware, backup/recovery, and storage management in a classified environment.
• Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, federal government, or comparable mission-critical enterprise environments.
• Experience developing or executing disaster recovery, continuity of operations, failover, and system-recovery exercises.
• Experience leading and/or coordinating enterprise incident management, configuration management, and lifecycle management processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive briefing to senior Government stakeholders.
• Microsoft Certified Professional certification: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200), Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600), Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert (MS-102), Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Windows Server Administrator Associate (AZ-802) or any equivalent. Experience can be substituted for a current certification.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:
• Master's degree (MA/MS) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical or management discipline.
• Twelve (12) or more years of progressively responsible information technology (IT) experience, including significant experience supporting enterprise systems and infrastructure operations.
• TS/SCI.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• ITIL 4 Foundation or higher certification.
• Knowledge of or certification in cloud (AWS, Azure, Google, or equivalent).
• Technical knowledge and/or operational experience Linux and/or iOS.
• Experience as an IT Operations Lead, Deputy Program Manager, Program Manager or equivalent leadership role.
• Familiarity with DELL Technologies or certification in PowerEdge or Storage Resource Manager.
