SAIC is seeking an Sr. Systems Engineer Integrator in Chantilly, VA to support SAIC's large SETA program, supporting the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), Advanced Ground Office.

With a background in support to Space Programs providing Enterprise Systems Engineering and Integration, you will work with stakeholders to provide end-to-end closure of requirements for space programs (Indications and Warnings (I&W)/ Integration and Closure (I&C)), consult with Government leads, develop CONOPS, participate in verification, test and systems integration efforts, and conduct gap identification, analysis, and assessments. In this senior role, you will serve as a cross-functional integrator, drive integration and migration planning, and serve as the ultimate advocate for client mission success. This position requires on-site support at customer locations and is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in complex, mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities to include:
  • Lead integration planning, design, and execution across enterprise cloud and tactical edge environments, ensuring seamless interoperability between systems, data services, and third-party applications within an open-architecture framework.
  • Translate integration requirements into technically sound interface control documents, API specifications, and data exchange agreements that support bi-directional, cross-platform data sharing across classified and unclassified network domains.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between Government stakeholders, vendors, and development teams to ensure integration requirements are accurately captured, communicated, traceable, and verifiable throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Evaluate and validate platform integration capabilities including data onboarding and normalization, credential authority, object databases, API performance, and interoperability across multiple security domains.
  • Participate in product demonstrations, design reviews, and agile development cycles, providing rapid technical assessment of integration solution compliance against documented requirements and operational needs.
  • Collaborate with vendors, partners, requirements analysts, and Government stakeholders to identify and resolve integration risks, dependencies, and technical gaps throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Lead the integrating and implementation of designs and architectures across and into multiple systems and platforms.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of intelligence information requirements and operational environments.
  • Develop and maintain planning baselines to support program execution and technical decision-making.
  • Lead the creation and management of integration schedules, migration plans, and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with program objectives and client needs.
  • Interact frequently with internal and external senior management and customer representatives regarding projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, and contractual matters.
  • Work closely and effectively with the Architecture Lead to identify, test, and implement technical solutions.
  • Directly manage and mentor subordinate engineers and experienced specialist staff who operate with significant latitude and independence.
  • Collaborate with senior management to review operational outcomes and ensure organizational objectives are being met.
  • Establish and enforce operating policies and procedures that govern departmental and cross-functional work units.
  • Interpret and apply government-wide policies and procedures to ensure consistent, compliant operations.


Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's in Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a similar engineering discipline or technical degree and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI /w Poly
  • 15+ years of experience in systems integration, IT architecture, and/or SIGINT solution design.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting intelligence community (IC) or DoD programs, particularly systems engineering, systems integration, testing, architectural and engineering documentation.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, integration methodologies, and migration planning.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience developing and managing program budgets, schedules, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to interpret and apply organizational and contractual policies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable operating in project-based, customer-facing environments, including on-site engagements.
