Full Job Description
Our opportunity:

As Senior Vice President of Solutions Engineering, you will sit at the intersection of technical excellence and executive strategy, owning the global pre-sales function and serving as a key voice in shaping company direction. Reporting directly to the COO, you will build and lead a world-class, distributed organization of solutions engineers and regional SE leaders, driving the enterprise-wide adoption of Agentic Process Automation across marquee accounts worldwide.

This is a C-suite-adjacent leadership role that demands equal command of C-level credibility and deep technical authority. You will be the company's most senior technical voice in the field-championing the transformative potential of AI and Automation, influencing product strategy, and forging executive relationships at the largest enterprises globally. You will be a key architect of the company's go-to-market engine, driving revenue at scale while elevating the function from pre-sales support to a strategic growth lever.

Who you'll report to: This position will report to our Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Location: Hybrid role - Regular onsite workdays in our San Jose, CA required, extensive global travel required

You will make an impact by being responsible for:
  • Define and execute the global vision, operating model, and multi-year growth strategy for the Solutions Engineering organization across all regions, channels, and market segments
  • Build, scale, and inspire a tiered leadership organization comprising regional SE directors, practice leads, and distributed solution engineers delivering pre-sales excellence across direct, partner, and alliances channels worldwide
  • Partner with the CRO, regional revenue presidents, and C-suite peers to shape go-to-market strategy, pipeline health, and the commercial motion required to win at enterprise scale
  • Track, own and deliver against global metrics: win velocity, win rates, win/loss, number of wins by region, strategic/enterprise customers as well as SE team utilization and productivity
  • Establish the frameworks, engagement models, and field artifacts that govern how Solutions Engineering operates across distinct regional markets, ensuring global consistency with local relevance
  • Lead from the front and serve as an executive sponsor and ultimate technical authority in the highest-stakes customer pursuits, personally engaging with C-level and board-level stakeholders at strategic accounts
  • Drive executive-level influence over the product roadmap-translating patterns from the field into product strategy, ensuring our platform roadmap reflects global enterprise demand and accelerates competitive differentiation
  • Champion a culture of deep domain expertise, intellectual curiosity, and continuous enablement across the SE organization-developing the next generation of technical leaders
  • Use AI to create a more efficient and effective SE organization
  • Own the full talent lifecycle for the global SE organization: headcount planning, executive hiring, succession planning, performance management, and compensation strategy
  • Represent the company at industry forums, analyst briefings, and executive customer events as a thought leader in AI, Automation, and enterprise digital transformation

You will be a great fit if you have:
  • 20+ years of overall experience, including 8+ years in senior pre-sales or sales engineering leadership within enterprise SaaS, with direct responsibility for global or multi-regional organizations
  • Proven track record of leading and scaling high-performing global Solutions Engineering or Pre-Sales organizations-ideally from $500M to $1B+ revenue environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline required; MBA or advanced technical degree strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success owning revenue outcomes as an SE leader-with measurable impact on win rates, deal velocity, and ACV expansion
  • Executive presence and C-level fluency: proven ability to engage, influence, and close at the CXO and board level across Fortune 500 and global enterprise accounts
  • Experience driving cross-functional strategy as a member or peer of the executive leadership team, including product influence, M&A technical diligence, and company-level go-to-market planning
  • Willingness and ability to travel globally at the pace required by a senior field executive role (up to 50%)

You excel in these key competencies:
  • Strategic vision and the operational rigor to translate it into quarterly execution across a large, distributed organization
  • Deep mastery of the AI, Automation, and Agentic Process Automation market-recognized externally as a thought leader and practitioner
  • Proven ability to operate at altitude (board and C-suite) while maintaining credibility on the technical depth required to lead an engineering-oriented organization
  • Experience building and scaling practices within a Big 4 / global consulting context, or equivalent enterprise advisory background with a track record of driving large-scale digital transformation
  • Sophisticated understanding of enterprise cloud platforms and complex integration environments, with the ability to translate technical architecture into business value
  • Exceptional executive communication skills-written, verbal, and in high-stakes presentations-with the ability to command a room and inspire confidence at every level of a customer organization
  • Strong commercial instincts: able to size opportunities, architect deals, and align Solutions Engineering motion to revenue acceleration
  • Change leadership capability: drives transformation, builds organizational resilience, and creates alignment in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Coach and talent magnet: known for attracting top-tier technical talent and developing leaders who go on to hold VP and SVP roles
