Title: Supply Management Specialist - 123186

Salary Range: $81,130.00- $104,992.00 (annual)

Your Responsibilities

As the Canadian Supply Management Specialist working in Grimsby, Ontario for John Deere businesses across Canada, you will be responsible for all tasks related to the procurement of indirect material and supply purchases. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of colleagues located in the USA and globally, to align to global processes.

In addition, you will:
  • Support employees from multiple units by updating documentation, training and supporting the creation of purchase orders in SAP.
  • Work with corporate teams to create and maintain vendors, ensuring the appropriate global vendors are sourced and new vendor best practices are understood and shared within the business.
  • Prepare and distribute reports as appropriate while reporting summary results and insights to your manager/other leadership as appropriate.
  • Benchmark with global indirect supply management policies and apply processes for Canadian units.
  • Manage vendor relationships including data collection, discrepancies, disputes.
  • Project Management to leverage vendor and/or Deere tools.
  • Identify potential cost savings.
  • Support compliance with applicable laws and regulations within Canada.

  • Ability to evaluate and improve performance
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with Excel skills, and experience with Accounting/Procurement system.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
