Position Overview:
The Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily supply chain operations, including purchasing, supplier performance, and inventory coordination. This role leads and supports a small team, ensures efficient procurement processes, and drives continuous improvement in supplier management and internal supply chain workflows.
Building upon the coordination and administrative foundation of the Supply Chain function , this position adds leadership, accountability, and strategic oversight to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and track purchase orders under the direction of the Director of Operations.
- Follow up with suppliers on order status, delivery dates, and basic inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and supplier communications
- Review, organize, and maintain supplier contracts and documentation, ensuring files are complete, up to date, and easily accessible
- Track contract expiration dates and notify management of upcoming renewals
- Assist with supplier onboarding by collecting required documentation and entering data into systems
- Update and maintain supplier and procurement data in ERP systems and spreadsheets
- Support inventory tracking by updating logs and flagging low stock levels
- Assist in resolving routine delivery or order discrepancies by coordinating with internal teams
- Prepare basic reports on order status, open POs, and supplier performance metrics
- Support internal audits by ensuring documentation is complete and properly filed
- Identify opportunities to improve organization and efficiency of supply chain records and processes
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4-7 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or procurement roles
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment preferred
- 1-2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong understanding of supplier management, procurement processes, and inventory control
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills

- APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) is a plus
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status required
What We Offer:
- The salary for this position is $85,000 - $95,000/year depending on experience and qualifications.
