Supply Chain Supervisor

Location: Katy, TX

Summary

The Supply Chain Supervisor plays a critical role in building and leading a high-performing supply chain team that supports Mattr's operational excellence. This position is responsible for establishing and managing capacity planning, production scheduling, and inventory management processes to ensure service, quality, and lead-time expectations are consistently met or exceeded. The role also drives continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen operational performance, optimize overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), and enhance end-to-end supply chain effectiveness.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end customer order fulfillment process across the internal organization to meet service, quality, cost, inventory, and lead-time targets.
  • Design, implement, and maintain effective supply chain workflows across capacity planning, production scheduling, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and order fulfillment.
  • Develop, document, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) that drive efficient and consistent supply chain processes.
  • Oversee production scheduling activities to support lead-time management and optimize overall equipment effectiveness, including downtime, setup, and performance losses.
  • Manage and optimize planning parameters such as reorder points, reorder quantities, safety stock, lead times, EOQ, MOQ, and supplier allocations.
  • Provide oversight of the ERP/MRP system (Infor/IFS), ensuring system configuration and advanced functionality effectively support business needs.
  • Analyze planned versus actual supply chain performance, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve results.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives using structured problem-solving tools and statistical analysis techniques to reduce waste and improve performance.
  • Develop and maintain continuous improvement documentation, master plans, and execution tracking aligned with management system requirements.
  • Lead, coach, and engage team members while ensuring health, safety, environmental, and HR policies are applied consistently and fairly.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, production, maintenance, engineering, quality, and safety teams to support operational alignment and results.


Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required; University Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or operations; 7-10 years preferred
  • Experience within the electronic interconnect industry, specifically focusing on Amphenol products or similar preferred
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (minimum 2-4 years required); formal ERP/MRP training or CPIM certification or Six Sigma or equivalent preferred
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain methodologies, and planning processes
  • Advanced analytical and computer skills, including proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Excel and statistical analysis software; IFS proficiency preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and lead teams, manage projects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
