How you'll make an impact in this roleThis position resides under The Resource Group, an end-to-end supply chain partner to healthcare organizations across the United States, wholly-owned by Ascension. At The Resource Group, we build strong relationships with provider teams, working alongside them to improve supply chain operations and lower non-payroll expenses, all in support of delivering quality patient care. Responsibilities for this role can be found below:
• Direct the enterprise-level ordering, tracking, and management of local inventory to guarantee the continuity of clinical care through the seamless delivery and stocking of supplies at healthcare facilities.
• Provide rigorous management of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and departmental workflows to ensure all distribution activities are executed accurately, safely, and in a timely manner.
• Exercise high-level accountability for departmental budgets, resource utilization, and work allocation to optimize financial performance and ensure the efficient use of organizational capital.
• Lead the analysis of KPIs and supply data to proactively identify operational risks and implement strategic solutions for complex distribution challenges.
• Oversee the integrity of supply and service contracts while ensuring all departmental activities maintain strict adherence to regulatory compliance and vendor access policies.
• Optimize team performance through strategic day-to-day management of associates including hiring, training and onboarding, professional development, and providing coaching and feedback as needed.
What minimum requirements you'll needEducation:
- High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
What additional preferences we're seeking• A Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred)
• 4 years of professional experience (project management, people management, and/or operations)
