The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing all aspects of the company's supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory management, production planning, supplier relationships, logistics, and demand forecasting. This role works cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, sales, finance, and customer service to ensure materials and products are available to meet customer demand while minimizing costs and maximizing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities- Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support company objectives for cost, quality, delivery, and inventory performance.
- Lead purchasing, planning, inventory control, logistics, and supplier management functions.
- Manage demand planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization to ensure appropriate material availability while minimizing excess inventory.
- Oversee production planning to align manufacturing schedules with customer demand and material availability.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery, quality, cost, and responsiveness.
- Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to minimize business disruptions.
- Collaborate with engineering on new product introductions, supplier qualification, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Analyze supply chain metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead inventory accuracy initiatives, cycle counting programs, and inventory reduction efforts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop departmental budgets and manage spending within approved targets.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of purchasing, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and supplier development.
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems, D365 a plus.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proven experience leading teams and driving operational improvements.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Manufacturing experience a plus.
