Salary Range: $108,910.00 - $136,38.00, plus eligible discretionary bonus Location: Chicago Regional Office - Des Plaines, IL YOUR ROLEThe Regional AOS Solution Design Manager is responsible for supporting regional growth objectives by managing the Air & Ocean Solutions (AOS) pipeline, leading solution design activities, and serving as the regional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Supply Chain Management platform (currently Infor Nexus). This role partners closely with Business Development, Operations, Trade Management, Product Teams, and customers to develop, implement, and optimize complex supply chain solutions that drive customer value and business growth.
The position plays a critical role throughout the customer lifecycle, including solution development, customer presentations, implementation management, onboarding, training, operational support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?- Support regional business growth by partnering with Business Development and Operations teams to design, develop, and implement customer-focused supply chain solutions.
- Analyze customer supply chains, transportation networks, and operational processes to identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency, and service enhancement.
- Lead the implementation and configuration of Infor Nexus solutions, including EDI integrations, customer onboarding, and system enhancements.
- Provide subject matter expertise, conduct customer demonstrations, deliver training, and develop operational documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and user guides.
- Monitor operational performance and compliance, proactively resolve issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives to ensure service excellence.
- Support RFQs, proposals, and solution development activities by collaborating with Business Development, Global Solution Design, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Serve as the regional point of contact for Infor Nexus and Air & Ocean Solutions-related inquiries, providing ongoing operational and customer support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain management, solution design, or a related field. - Demonstrated success leading cost-reduction initiatives and driving operational efficiency improvements.
- Experience with supply chain management systems, Infor Nexus, business analytics, and process improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Visio, and other business systems and technologies.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional, and team-oriented environment.
Travel: Regional travel required.
