This position reports to:Procurement Manager
Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, plan, and implement procurement strategy focused on optimizing costs, quality, delivery, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products for an assigned category or group of categories. Each day, you will ensure execution in accordance with company, procurement, and supply base management instructions and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.

This role is contributing to the Automation, Marine and Ports Division.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Leading supplier sourcing, qualification, and commercial engagement to ensure a competitive, resilient supply base aligned with business strategy.
- Negotiating pricing, terms & conditions, and long-term agreements with key suppliers, ensuring optimal commercial value and risk mitigation.
- Managing supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery, lead time) and drive corrective actions, claims, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supporting bid and proposal activities by providing market intelligence, cost analysis, and sourcing strategies to strengthen commercial competitiveness. Leading RFQ activities by identifying qualified suppliers, issuing bid requests, ensuring competitive bidding, evaluating commercial proposals, performing cost and market analyses, and recommending sourcing strategies that support bid and proposal efforts while maximizing value, competitiveness, and supply chain performance.
- Developing and adapt contractual frameworks, lead bid evaluations, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications for the role - Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost optimization.
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field and minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Industry experience in sectors such as marine, ports, heavy industry, or electrical engineering.
- Demonstrated expertise in supplier relationship management, including performance management and development.
- Ability to analyze and evaluate RFQs, bids, and commercial proposals to drive best-value decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills in a global, matrixed environment.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate analysis into actionable commercial strategies.
