Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Office of Assets and Facilities' Management, in Washington, District of Columbia.

This is a non-bargaining unit position.

Duties

As a Supervisory Program Specialist, you will perform the following duties:

  • Identify and solve problems, evaluate information, use sound judgment to generate alternatives and make recommendations.
  • Provide supervision and oversight of complex programs/projects, including resource management decisions with substantial organizational impact.
  • Maximize functional and financial value of ICE personal property assets throughout their lifecycle (acquisition, management, disposition).
  • Operate and oversee ICE mail and print service programs.
  • Ensure efficient use of services and resources to optimize business costs and customer service.

You qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess one of the following:

Experience: One (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:

  • Knowledge of financial processes, including budgeting, procurement, contracting, and expenditure monitoring.
  • Experience in organizing work, setting priorities, and coordinating across organizational units.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including evaluating information and making recommendations.
  • Supervisory experience overseeing complex programs/projects and resource management.
  • Experience managing asset lifecycle, vehicle tracking systems, budget, and training programs.
