Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Office of Partnership and Engagement, in Washington, District of Columbia.

Duties

Help

As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, at the GS-14 level, you will perform the following duties:

  • Provides recommendations to higher-level management on personnel actions such as promotions, disciplinary actions, and awards.
  • Identifies training and developmental needs for staff or subordinate supervisors and their teams, facilitating access to professional development opportunities to enhance skills and capabilities.
  • Ensures that resources are managed efficiently and effectively, tracking expenditures, addressing resource gaps, and ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints.
  • Coordinate team efforts across organizational units and external stakeholders, ensuring that all work integrates into broader agency initiatives.

You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:

  • Serving as an expert analyst responsible for conducting comprehensive studies and evaluations to assess and improve the effectiveness of agency programs, operations, and management processes;
  • Applying a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze complex issues, identify trends, and propose solutions to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Designing and conducting broad and complex management studies, often requiring the development of study boundaries and objectives as the project progresses; and
  • Integrating data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights and inform decision-making at the senior leadership level.
