- You will lead a team of diverse individuals comprised of engineers, and administrative/technical specialists as their first line supervisor, report directly to the Division Head Code 753, and report functionally to the AUTEC Technical Program Manager
- You will be responsible for effective utilization, direction, career development/supervision of all branch personnel involved in the planning, organization and conduct of AUTEC base operations in accordance with the detachment concept of operations.
- You will be responsible for the administrative and technical management of AUTEC's support capabilities.
- You will be responsible for all matters related to tasks, services, and assets needed to support AUTEC Enterprise Operations.
- You will oversee Environmental, Safety, Fire, Security, Information Assurance, Information Technology, and other Base Services.
- You will have managerial and decision authority for one or more programs which have broad impact within the Navy and the Department of Defense. Decisions may involve policy that impacts the activity's ability to complete its assigned mission.
- You will plan, organize, assign, and direct new and on-going work; set objectives for and evaluates subordinate work; resolve work problems; and establish goals and priorities within established project goals and other parameters.
- You will determine methods to analyze and monitor costs; forecast budgets to ensure sound fiscal management and plan for future requirements such as equipment, facilities, and manpower.
- You will be responsible for budgetary submittals for all areas encompassed by base operations, monitor progress of expenditures and validate/prioritize requests for urgent unplanned expenditures.
- You will review and resolve group grievances or serious employee complaints. You will be the assigned authority to approve official time, travel authorizations, and travel vouchers.
- You will represent AUTEC leadership and coordinate with senior NUWCDIVNPT and NAVSEA leadership to ensure AUTEC requirements and opportunities are fulfilled to the maximum extent possible.
- You will lead the AUTEC Safety team ensuring implementation of a comprehensive safety and health program.
- You will ensure AUTEC provides adequate support for NUWCDIVNPT Code 1024 Explosives Safety Officer during the conduct of site approvals, generation of operating procedures, certification/qualification procedures and maintaining updated instructions.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
NT-04 (GS-11/12) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
