Position Summary

As a Regional Sales Director for the Healthcare team, you will lead a team of Sales Executives to achieve sales and profitability targets by delivering solutions to healthcare end-use customers and prospects in the region while collaborating closely with distribution to deliver long term value by aligning strategies and resources to support joint sales growth and deliver customer value.

Qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate their ability to lead teams, including hiring and developing strong talent, coaching and mentoring teams to deliver objectives, and building a high-performing and motivated team. They will also demonstrate competence in managing data and metrics to develop and execute sales plans, strategies and resource alignment to achieve sales and profitability goals. The candidate will also be able work cross functionally with distribution and internal stakeholders to drive overall business objectives.

Candidates must reside in the Western United States.

What You'll Do

Develop and execute a sales growth and profit plan. Build a plan to retain and expand business within the region with a focus on healthcare customers. This includes analyzing data and metrics to identify top accounts and distribution channels within the region (including corporate, regional and local accounts) and outlining a clear resource and sales plan to retain, grow and deliver sales and profitability targets.

Build a high-performing team. This includes hiring and developing of talent, coaching and mentoring individuals to enable goal achievement, and fostering a positive and winning team culture. Support sales teams in closing major deals or managing complex negotiations, including participation in sales strategy sessions, problem solving and active engagement with key end users and distributors.

Revenue and performance management. Monitor regional sales performance using KPIs and sales metrics. Use the Salesforce.com dashboard to lead and manage key activities related to account management, opportunities, account retention and employee development. Ensure consistent achievement (or overachievement!) of sales and profit targets. Manage forecasting, budgeting and reporting for the region.

Collaborate with distributors, key account teams and internal resources to deliver results. Maximize opportunities, co-develop strategies and jointly deliver solutions that ensure customer satisfaction, process efficiency and value creation. Actively demonstrate Solenis' core values.

Sector & Product Expertise. Build expertise in institutional cleaning, Diversey products and programs and competitive offerings. Understand stakeholders priorities in healthcare environments to credibly present solutions to meet their unique needs. Apply this knowledge to help team members advance the sales process by creating competitive differentiation and value for customers.

Conduct performance reviews with employees, customers and distributors to showcase value delivered and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Administrative duties. Complete key administrative tasks including updates to Salesforce.com, expenses, pricing, performance reviews, employee development plans, and management of budgets and marketing funds.

What You'll Bring
Preferred Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of outside sales experience, or high school diploma with 6+ years of applicable outside sales experience

Valid US Driver's License

Ability to travel up to 25% overnight.

Ability to lift approximately 40 lbs. and operate required miscellaneous equipment.

Proven record of results

Ability to build relationships and identify needs at multiple levels of the user organization.

Ability to integrate the user's needs and our offerings to determine the best solution for the end user.

Business and finance acumen to negotiate with larger customers, adjust to trends and deliver profitability improvements.

Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Excellent presentation skills

Computer savvy with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, CRM knowledgeable

The expected compensation range for this position is between $102,130.00 and $149,776.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
