About the role

Retail Media Supervisor is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across various digital platforms like Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, and other bidding-based retail media networks (such as Criteo, Door Dash and Instacart), focusing on sponsored product campaign management, optimization, and performance analysis to achieve client marketing goals, essentially managing all aspects of "biddable media" through Retail platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy

  • Develop the strategy, execution, and optimization of retail media campaigns for multiple clients across various industries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, content, strategy) to ensure alignment of Campaign strategy, campaign goals, messaging, and performance.

Campaign Implementation

  • Provide hands-on campaign execution, management and oversight on platforms like Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Criteo, Instacart, Google Ads, and similar platforms.
  • Contribute to campaign forecasting, media planning, and budget management across channels.
  • Setting up sponsored product, sponsored display and sponsored brands campaign structure, budgets, bidding strategies across platforms
  • Identify, propose, and execute testing opportunities across platforms
  • Stay up to date with platform changes, trends, and emerging tools, bringing forward innovative strategies and testing new ad products.

Performance Optimization and Reporting

  • Monitor key performance metrics such as Conversions, Cost per Acquisition (CAC), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
  • Strong focus on performance and optimization, reviewing accounts with the team regularly to ensure budget pacing and performance is on par.
  • Analyze performance data to extract actionable insights and optimization opportunities.
  • Analyze performance to analyze keyword, product and product target performance

Communication and Managerial Capabilities

  • Ability to develop performance decks and clearly communicate performance trends and opportunities to internal and external clients on weekly/bi-weekly or monthly cadence.
  • Mentor and manage a small team of Media Planners providing strategic direction, support, and feedback.
  • Ensure high standards of execution and performance across all client accounts under your supervision.


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience managing retail campaigns with strong platform-level knowledge.
  • Strong experience managing Direct to consumer or conversion-based media campaigns while having a good understanding of paid search campaign strategies.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, or manage junior team members.
  • Exceptional analytical skills - you instinctively dig into campaign data to understand what's working and why.
  • Advanced experience with Amazon Ads and Walmart Connect. Previous experience with Google Ads required.
  • Effective communication and client-facing skills with experience presenting results and strategies.
  • Experience managing budgets and media planning across multiple accounts.
  • Good understanding of best practices around retail media campaign objectives and bidding
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agency environment and juggle multiple priorities.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with Meta Ads Manager and Tik Tok Ads Manager or other social platforms
  • Familiarity with tools like Looker Studio and/or Supermetrics.
  • Google Ads certification.


The pay range for this role is:

$75,000 - $90,000 per year (Hybrid)
