Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage a team of eight maintenance personnel across multiple shifts.
  • Maintain and oversee the upkeep of all facility mechanical assets and parts inventory.
  • Implement job-specific training programs for ongoing development of maintenance staff.
  • Promote and lead initiatives for Preventive & Predictive Maintenance to reduce reactive service.
  • Develop and enforce maintenance procedures for conveyor lines to ensure optimal productivity.
  • Set and monitor maintenance standards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Participate in facility safety and food safety teams to promote compliance and safety culture.

Your Next Pour: The Opportunity

Responsible for managing all aspects of the multi shift maintenance department. This includes managing the upkeep of all Jersey City operations assets, managing the maintenance operating budget , managing outside service contracts and providing resources and assisting in the design and installation of new mechanical systems.

  • Performs maintenance management by supervising the activities of eight maintenance personnel and establishing priorities and maintenance schedules in a multi shift operation.
  • Maintains all facility mechanical assets, parts inventory, monitoring purchase orders, invoice approvals, and manages the departments operational budget.
  • Provides job specific training and continuous development on all maintenance personnel.
  • Drives the Maintenance and Reliability initiatives focused on Preventive & Predictive Maintenance drive to eliminate reactive service.
  • Managing, maintaining, and establishing maintenance procedures for converor lines in a food storage environment to ensure operations meets or performs better than productivity glidepath.
  • Developing and maintaining preventative maintenance standards.
  • Developing and maintaining key maintenance KPI's
  • Developing and maintaining associated departmental safety standards.
  • . Setting and maintaining departmental OT budget by reviewing weekly work requirements.
  • Participation / Member facility safety council
  • Participation / Member - Food Safety Team
  • Responsible for completing assigned Food Safety and Environmental Corrective action plans.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

  • Ability to maintain maintenance records, prepare reports, and compose correspondence related maintenance KPI's.

  • Ability to establish and maintain favorable inter office relations.
  • Knowledge of Storm Water and SPCC regulations
  • Knowledge of Air Emissions regulatory requirements
  • Supports EHS in CRTK submittals and chemical inventoty
  • Responsible for annual OSHA Supplemental "B" submittals for PSM
  • Knowledge of Ammonia physical properties and ability to complete mathematical equations related to hazardous material inventory, unplanned release quantities and calculations of heat loads
