Department: Tissue Engineering

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. (ET)

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Supervisor, Engineering is responsible for oversight of the equipment maintenance and repair functions within the operations department. This includes daily equipment repair and restoration to specification, preventative maintenance, and the inspection of custom manufactured equipment and associated calibration documentation/records. Key leader in collaboration related to systems standardization of engineering design documentation, specifications, order process, receipt of custom equipment, and associated workflows. Ensures

compliance with LifeNet QS/RA standards in allograft design and development duties.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Oversees the day-to-day activities of assigned team. Provides technical guidance, coaching and mentoring. Supports professional development and performance management for the team, including providing training, regular performance feedback, documented annual evaluations, and informal counseling and/or formal corrective action, as needed.
  • Key contributor in the activities related to creation and revision of inspection procedures, protocol, checklists, specifications, and workflow.
  • Develops, monitors and routinely reports key inspection related performance indicators and objectives to stakeholders. Assist in setting department goals and objectives.
  • Manages assigned projects effectively and efficiently through all phases from concept through implementation.
  • Provides design engineering support to project teams and continuous improvement efforts to include equipment and/or product performance review and assist in concept and design as assigned.
  • Serves as SME for CNC related processes; Oversees the inspection of both existing and purchased custom design parts.
  • Provides design engineering support to the P&L engineering and R&D product development teams as assigned.


WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Minimum Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Engineering Technology, technical trade program, or related or completed vocational training
  • Two (2) years of supervisory/ management experience


Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:
  • Experience in Tissue Banking, OPO, Medical Device, or a related field
  • Experience in CAD/ AM, 2D & 3D design, quality and mechanical inspection, prototype design and PLC
  • Experience in project management
  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) Certification

Key Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; MS Project, Workfront or other PM software proficiency.
  • Communication & Presentation: Ability to communicate conclusions and recommended path; able to present complex information to peers and nontechnical leadership; able to describe and convince decision makers and senior leadership on recommended path.
  • Teamwork & Problem Resolution: Ability to work as part of a team in solving problems and executing improvement initiatives.
  • Time Management Skills: Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet business needs.


COMPENSATION

Salary Range: $75,841 - $101,121 annually

Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $75,841 annually (entry level qualifications) to $101,121 annually (experienced in this role). Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate's knowledge and relevant experience.
