Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and control ammunition testing and development trials
  • Provide expertise in testing technology, weapon development, and ammunition
  • Assist clients with trial planning, suggesting appropriate equipment

  • Identify and implement safety protocols for shooting ranges
  • Supervise equipment preparation and inspection pre and post-firing
  • Draft testing instructions based on specifications and testing plans

  • Train personnel on testing standards, safety protocols, and company policies
  • Manage daily tasks, scheduling, and task distribution

Responsabilités du poste

Sous la supervision du Directeur, Centre d'essais Nicolet, le superviseur - coordonnateur d'essais a comme fonction première de planifier, d'organiser, de coordonner et de diriger l'ensemble des tirs et des activités de l'équipe dont il est responsable et de voir a son bon fonctionnement afin d'assurer le bon déroulement des essais.
- Planifier, organiser et contrôler les essais d'homologation de munitions et les essais de munitions en développement selon la cédule et la liste des priorités de Le Gardeur
- Maintenir et fournir une expertise relative à la technologie d'essais, au développement des armes et à la munition
- Assister le client dans la préparation de son plan d'essai en lui proposant les meilleurs équipements à utiliser afin qu'il atteigne son objectif et obtienne les résultats escomptés
- Déterminer les besoins en main-d'œuvre ainsi que le matériel nécessaire pour l'essai ou le déploiement
- Identifier le bon gabarit de sécurité à utiliser pour la sécurité du champ de tir
- Superviser la préparation et l'inspection des équipements avant et après le tir
- Rédiger les instructions d'épreuves selon les spécifications et le plan d'essais pour les essais de munitions
- Voir au bon déroulement des essais d'homologation et développement en coordonnant les activités avec les Directeurs de projet et assurer la sécurité de son personnel
- Superviser la vérification, la compilation des résultats et signer les rapports d'essais d'homologation et de développement
- Assurer la bonne formation du personnel à sa charge au niveau des essais d'homologations et de développement, des normes de sécurité et des politiques de l'entreprise
- Planifier les tâches quotidiennes, à accomplir, établir l'horaire de travail, distribuer les tâches et s'assurer que le travail est fait correctement
- Déterminer les méthodes de travail en fonction des résultats à obtenir et des ressources humaines et matérielles disponibles
- S'assurer que la qualité et la productivité du travail soit satisfaisants en regard des normes établies
- Veiller à l'application des mesures de santé et sécurité
- Organiser, distribuer et effectuer les tâches secondaires qui sont attribuées à son équipe
- Recommander des mesures relatives au personnel, telles que les embauches, les évaluations, les promotions et la reconnaissance (programme de récompense), etc.
- Diriger des projets " IMMO " et assurer leur exécution
- Assurer un suivi des réparations d'édifices, électriques ou autres effectuées par les entrepreneurs

Exigences du poste

- Formation technique reliée aux essais balistiques ou à la munition (l'expérience peut compenser le manque de formation)
- 5 à 10 ans d'expérience significative relative au tir ou à la munition est nécessaire
- Cours d'officier de sécurité de champs de tir
- Anglais fonctionnel
- Avoir des aptitudes en gestion
- Maîtrise de MS Office
- Connaissance du fonctionnement de DND et de ses bases militaires
- Le superviseur - coordonnateur d'essais est appelé à travailler à l'extérieur et à s'absenter de son domicile lors des déploiements, entre autres, sur les bases militaires.
