You and Your Job

As a Wholesale Banking Summer Intern based in our Chicago, IL office, you will provide analytical, transaction, and marketing support to the Food & Agribusiness Corporate Banking Coverage team. You will work alongside Analysts, Associates, Credit Analysts, and Relationship Managers while gaining exposure to Rabobank's broad product offerings and client-focused approach.

Through hands-on assignments, professional development, training, and access to senior bankers, you will build practical corporate banking skills and contribute to live transactions and new business development. The program is designed as a pipeline to full-time Analyst opportunities for interns who perform at a high level.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide analytical, transaction, and marketing support to the Food & Agribusiness Corporate Banking Coverage team.
• Assist Analysts and Associates with tasks supporting transaction execution and new business development.
• Prepare client and internal presentations, company profiles, and other marketing materials.
• Support Credit Analysts and Relationship Managers with research, analysis, and relevant projects.
• Collaborate with professionals across Rabobank's product offerings while delivering accurate, high-quality work within tight timelines.

Your Promise to Us:

To be considered for the Wholesale Banking Summer internship, you must have:

• Current junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, with a strong academic record.
• Business, banking, and finance coursework, with finance club participation or other relevant collegiate involvement.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• A sincere interest in food and agribusiness and a desire to pursue a career in corporate banking; previous professional internship experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work on-site at Rabobank's Chicago, IL office throughout the internship.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Rabobank is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.

Internship Overview:

Rabobank's internship program is designed to provide a mutually beneficial relationship and growth opportunity for Rabobank and collegiate students. This experiential learning opportunity provides practical application and skills development in a professional environment and is aligned with Rabobank's commitment to recruit top talent in the communities we serve. While employed as a summer intern, students will have the opportunity to prove their ability to learn and demonstrate key skills that will make them successful at Rabobank. To aid in this endeavor, students will be matched with a mentor and provided the necessary professional development opportunities to achieve their goals. The internship will be a full time 40hr a week position, 10-week, paid program.

Salary Expectations:

Target Hiring Range: $49.50/hour

This position is subject to the terms of Rabobank's compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to Rabobank employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
