This role partners with Packaging and Test Business Group (PBG) in Foundry Services, and SPTD through the program management life cycle for IFS and external manufactured substrates with supplier selections, affordability through negotiations, planning strategic capacity, qualification timelines to ensure product readiness and escalations.
This role sits at the center of a high-impact, business-critical challenge for Intel Foundry, offering experienced leaders the opportunity to drive meaningful outcomes in a complex and evolving supply chain environment. It provides the chance to address well-defined substrate capacity and sourcing challenges where the right expertise can deliver immediate, measurable impact. The Substrates Business Strategic Program Lead will have clear visibility into their contributions, with a direct line of sight between decisions, execution, and business results. For those with a passion for semiconductor products, the role enables close connection to tangible technologies and real-world outcomes. The position operates at a critical inflection point for Intel, where speed, strategic thinking, and decisive execution are essential to success. It offers the ability to quickly step in, leverage prior experience, and influence direction while partnering with experienced leaders and established teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting PBG and customers achieve an affordable and resilient supply chain to deliver leadership product performance and derive maximum value through substrates business engagement.
  • Sourcing strategy and execution: Proactively partner, cross functionally, within Intel Foundry and Intel Product Groups to deliver substrate supply chain solutions through the entire product life cycle. This includes identifying and shaping the sourcing strategies and engaging in the supplier evaluation for new opportunities.
  • Complex Strategic Sourcing: Lead and drive customer engagement, coordinating all interfaces between Intel, business units, and external manufactured solutions. Drive overall customer engagement, establish and maintain a program POR, highlight and mitigate risks, and work with both the customer and Intel organizations to prioritize supplier allocations establishing substrate capacity corridors.
  • Executive Presence: Influence at the executive level and leverage capabilities across Intel as needed to support the foundry customer and product needs.
    • Proactively shape and orchestrate supply chain sourcing information digestible at all levels of the company.
    • Prepare and present substrate sourcing deliverables to a variety of executive forums with effective and efficient orchestration of communication.
  • Program Leadership: Technical background coupled with effective program management and communication skills.
    • Having a service mindset is essential in this customer-facing role. Mature Leadership and program management experience in complex engineering organizations.
    • Customer orientation skills qualified to interface successfully and build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
    • Complex problem solving and decision-making skills with results orientation


Qualifications:
