Structures Design Engineer Level 3 | Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States Structures Design Engineer Level 3 Location: Oklahoma City, OK | Shift: First | Onsite Responsibilities - Develop, integrate, and document mechanical and structural payload system requirements to establish robust system designs. - Create, maintain, and manage mechanical and structural component designs using 3D CAD tools such as CATIA and ENOVIA throughout the product lifecycle. - Perform thorough validation and verification tests to ensure systems and components meet all requirements and specifications. - Lead supplier development, test, and production activities, optimizing designs and achieving program objectives through close coordination. - Investigate and implement emerging technologies to conceptualize future product designs meeting projected requirements. - Communicate technical information clearly with teams, suppliers, customers, and regulatory delegates to certify and deliver products. - Develop innovative repair solutions, including 3D printed test parts, and collaborate with machine shops for rapid prototyping and validation. - Build and maintain strong relationships with production teams for seamless part production and testing success. Required Skills and Experience - Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Material Sciences Engineering. - Minimum 2 years of hands-on engineering experience. - Proficiency in CATIA and ENOVIA. - Strong mechanical or structural design background. - Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred Skills - Over 5 years of experience in Aerospace Structures Engineering. - Experience with IVT, REDARS, and CMPRO. - Expertise in data analysis, synthesis, and technical reporting. - Proficiency in evaluating design, production, and support challenges.
