White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire a Stroke Program Coordinator (RN) who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Stroke Program Coordinator (RN), you will:
• Role-model positive customer service behaviors
• Monitor applicable stroke program regulatory requirements (MIEMSS, AHA, etc) and ensure development of a strategic plan for successful compliance in conjunction with the stroke medical director
• Operationalize the strategic plan for stroke care within the organization in collaboration with individual unit managers
• Establish, role-model, and monitor the standards of practice and expectations for the staff related to the stroke care standards, monitoring performance, behaviors, and competency in collaboration with unit managers
• Role-model and champion professional practice related to stroke care (to include nurse autonomy, authority, accountability, and responsibility) across the organization
• Actively leads and encourages staff participation in continuous improvement efforts, DMAICs, and shared governance
• Promotes cohesive work teams and constructive conflict resolution within and between stroke units
• Execute other duties as assigned

Qualifications include:
• Baccalaureate Degree in nursing required, Mater's degree preferred
• Five years of work experience in critical care area, as defined by the department-specific certification requirements
• Current Maryland State nursing license
• Current America Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
• Certification in leadership within 1 year of eligibility
• Participation in professional organizations

Work Schedule:

Employment Type: Full-time
Hours per Week: 40 hours/week
Typical Daily Schedule: 8 am-5 pm Monday through Friday- Some flexibility
Shift Type: Day Shift
Holiday Requirements: Follow the company holiday calendar

Pay Range:
$77,313.60 - $115,980.80
If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as:
United States of America (Exempt)
