Position Description

ThinkTek is seeking a Strategic Partnerships Support Specialist to support a Department of War client with developing and maintaining strategic government partnerships and stakeholder relationships.

The successful candidate will coordinate with key stakeholders and designated partnership leads, support engagement activities, analyze cross-Service and Other Defense Agency policies, and help senior leadership identify and pursue new partnership opportunities. This role requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to navigate different organizational cultures and perspectives.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders and designated partnership leads to support strategic government partnerships.
  • Identify, develop, and cultivate new strategic partnership opportunities with government organizations, Services, agencies, governments, and other relevant entities.
  • Prepare meeting materials, briefings, talking points, and other coordination products.
  • Facilitate and support joint meetings, engagements, and partnership activities.
  • Track collaborative action items, decisions, and follow-up requirements to support continued progress.
  • Maintain and strengthen existing strategic partnerships and stakeholder relationships.
  • Research and analyze cross-Service and Other Defense Agency policies, initiatives, and organizational priorities.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations to help senior leadership understand potential impacts, opportunities, and partnership considerations.
  • Develop effective communication approaches for working across different organizations, leadership levels, and organizational cultures.
  • Build relationships with prospective partners and assess opportunities to establish mutually beneficial government partnerships.
  • Support additional strategic engagement, partnership, and coordination activities as needed.

Required
  • Active Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Communications, International Relations, Political Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting government, defense, strategic partnerships, stakeholder engagement, policy analysis, or related activities.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying, developing, and establishing new strategic partnerships or stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, engagements, and activities involving multiple government or organizational stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing executive-level briefing and coordination materials.
  • Experience researching and analyzing policies, organizational initiatives, and their potential impacts.
  • Ability to identify partnership opportunities and effectively engage prospective partners.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across multiple organizations and levels of leadership.
  • Strong understanding of professional communication and the ability to navigate different organizational cultures and stakeholder perspectives.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, track action items, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense or other federal government organizations preferred.

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $157,030 - $174,020. This range is a good-faith estimate and not a guarantee of compensation. Final compensation will be based on factors including experience, education, skills, geographic location, internal equity, market data, and applicable contract requirements, and may fall outside the posted range.
