JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Role

HBX Group is looking for a Strategic Account Manager to own and grow a focused portfolio of our top-tier accounts across the Americas. This isn't a high-volume book of business - it's a small number of our most strategic relationships, and we're looking for someone who wants to go deep, not wide.

You'll partner directly with senior stakeholders at some of the region's most important travel, distribution, and fintech companies, acting less like an account manager and more like a strategic advisor embedded in their business. The travel industry is moving from a vendor model to an ecosystem model - the accounts you manage will be at the center of that shift, and you'll be the one helping them see (and capture) the opportunity in it.

What You'll Do

  • Own commercial strategy and growth for a curated portfolio of top-tier accounts, including share-of-wallet analysis, funnel mapping, and multi-year account planning
  • Build senior-level relationships that go beyond the day-to-day - you're a trusted advisor, not a ticket-taker
  • Identify white space within existing accounts and build the business case to go after it
  • Navigate complex commercial conversations - pricing, contract renewals, performance disputes - with data-forward rigor and a collaborative tone
  • Partner cross-functionally (product, connectivity, marketing, finance) to bring the full HBX ecosystem to your accounts
  • Represent HBX at industry events and in client-facing forums as a credible voice on where travel distribution is headed

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience in strategic account management, enterprise sales, or partnerships within travel, travel technology, or a related B2B ecosystem
  • A track record of managing complex, high-value accounts - not just maintaining them, but growing them
  • Comfort operating at the intersection of data and relationship: you can build a share-of-wallet model and walk a C-suite stakeholder through it in the same week
  • A bias toward being bold, not defensive - someone who sees fragmentation and disruption in travel as opportunity, not threat
  • Strong written and verbal communication; you can hold your own in a room with senior decision-makers
  • Highly organized - you can juggle multiple complex accounts, stakeholders, and moving pieces without dropping the ball
  • Fluent with AI tools to run data analysis and inform strategic decisions - you don't just report on account performance, you use AI to find the insight in it faster
  • Comfortable with a remote-first team and self-directed ownership of your book of business
  • Google Ads knowledge and OTA (Online Travel Agency) experience preferred
  • A competitive streak when it comes to winning against the competition, paired with a genuine team-player mentality internally - you play to win in the market, not against your own colleagues

At HBX Group, we believe that diversity drives innovation and makes travel a force for good. We're committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and respected, embracing different backgrounds, perspectives and talents. Join us and be part of a team where diversity and equal opportunities really do make a difference.

You will have the opportunity to work for a company that is going through significant change in becoming the world's leading travel services provider. We are looking for people that are ready to ride the wave in this exciting journey.

As well as an attractive benefits package you will be able to work:
  • Within an innovative, engaging and multicultural environment.
  • Have the opportunity to build strong and lasting business relationships and friendships from around the world.
  • Have the opportunity in developing your career locally or within one of our beautiful working locations across the globe.
