Full Job Description
The Position:
The Strategic Account Manager, reporting to the Director, Strategic Account Management, is responsible for building and maintaining relationships while increasing adoption and satisfaction with assigned accounts of strategic significance. Responsible for ensuring an exceptional end-to-end customer experience, identifying and nurturing supply chain service solution opportunities while leading, supporting, and advocating for the client's strategic business objectives.

The compensation range for this position is 120K to 140K, depending on experience.

How You'll Make an Impact:
• Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with assigned customers, establishing credibility across all levels to balance customer needs with business capabilities.
• Lead strategic account planning with executive stakeholders to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, KPIs, and critical milestones.
• Drive cross-departmental coordination across operations, customer service, IT, quality, inventory control, BPO, and management to meet customer expectations and strategic objectives.
• Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis; identify and align internal resources to develop solutions that best address those needs.
• Develop and deliver regular business reviews and communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of audiences, from frontline personnel to executive stakeholders.
• Support the Director in all aspects of customer satisfaction surveys, including preparation, results analysis, and follow-up across assigned and unassigned accounts.
• Align individual account activity to broader corporate strategic objectives defined by management.
• Travel 20-40% of the time as portfolio activity requires.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Associates degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years' strategic, B2B customer-centric account management experience, preferably in supply chain/logistics industry.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft business applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience must demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work well under pressure and problem solve across a variety of business processes.
  • Able to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines. Strong emphasis on organizational skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience engaging clients through professional investigative techniques to understand the client's needs, discover new opportunities, and overcome challenges.
