Full Job Description
Provide leadership and initiative in the overall coordination of designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs highly complex software programs for enhancements and new products.

Essential Functions
  • Responsible for highly complex concept design through the full development life cycle.
  • Prepares and conducts systems programming test requiring interfacing and software tests.
  • Coaches others in less senior positions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills:
• 2+ yrs building LLM apps & autonomous agents with LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or ReAct loops. Strong expertise in deterministic tool/function calling & structured JSON outputs.
• 2+ yrs deploying & scaling on GCP with strong expertise in Vertex AI, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions (2nd Gen), and Cloud SQL. Solid grasp of GCP IAM, Workload Identity, & Secret Manager.
• Experience with modern UI frameworks (React/Angular) for seamless team collaboration, plus a proven track record migrating legacy .NET/Java architectures to modern cloud setups.
• Background in building production evaluation pipelines (measuring hallucination, precision, and latency).
• Experience integrating agents with enterprise platforms (Microsoft Teams, Slack, internal ERP/CRM systems).
• Strong background in modern Java (17/21+) backend development using Spring Boot to build, optimize, and deploy high-throughput microservices and REST APIs to the cloud.
• Expertise in Advanced RAG, vector databases (Vertex AI Vector Search, pgvector), chunking strategies, semantic reranking, and hybrid search (keyword + vector).
• Proven skill optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures to reduce compute/memory overhead, accelerate execution, and control cloud database costs during migrations.
• Google Cloud Certified: Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Machine Learning Engineer.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal.

Minimum Experience

Four (4) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.

Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law.
