About This RoleCrusoe's Cloud Product team is seeking a
Staff Technical Program Manager to bridge the gap between Product and Engineering. In this high-level individual contributor role, you will lead our most complex technical projects, turning ambiguity into actionable frameworks. Our vision is to build the world's easiest-to-use, purpose-built AI cloud. While our customers focus on high-level AI model frameworks like PyTorch and Ray, Crusoe manages the underlying complexity-standardizing firmware/OS bundles and automating component orchestration.
As a Staff TPM, you are the connective tissue between Engineering, Product, Procurement, and Data Center Operations. You will ensure we deliver a reliable, scalable platform where customers run massive AI workloads without ever worrying about low-level system details. Whether it is leading multi-quarter product developments, New Product Introductions (NPI), or large-scale data center deployments, you will personally drive the initiatives that define Crusoe's future.
What You'll Be Working On- End-to-End Program Ownership: Drive the execution of AI IaaS and Managed Services projects from concept to delivery.
- Hands-On Execution: Personally manage high-risk technical programs and intervene directly to course-correct initiatives and maintain momentum.
- Roadmap Leadership: Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to develop and deliver a robust, multi-quarter roadmap.
- Risk & Dependency Governance: Proactively identify technical, organizational, and business risks; facilitate critical executive decisions to unblock progress.
- Capacity & Investment Planning: Assess resource needs-including human capital and cloud infrastructure-to ensure high-priority initiatives are fully funded and staffed.
- External Partner Engagement: Coordinate hardware certification, validation, and infrastructure stack alignment with external vendors and data center operations.
- Execution Frameworks: Implement lightweight, scalable TPM frameworks and dashboards to establish metrics and predictability as Crusoe Cloud scales.
What You'll Bring to the Team- AI Infrastructure Fluency: Deep technical knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Public or Private) across hardware and software boundaries, including GPU firmware, drivers, and CUDA/ROCm stacks.
- Proven Scale Experience: 10+ years as a TPM in fast-paced technology environments, specifically managing software-heavy and/or AI hardware projects.
- AI Tool Integration: A forward-thinking approach with daily, active use of AI tools to enhance your own workflow and the broader TPM function.
- Strategic Influence: The ability to influence technical and executive leaders without direct authority, translating high-level strategy into technical reality.
- Executive Communication: Exceptional ability to deliver concise, data-driven, and high-fidelity updates to the executive team.
- Technical Versatility: Familiarity with IaaS services, Kubernetes, storage, and networking.
Bonus Points- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Direct experience operating in a hyper-growth company or scaled Agile/Scrum environment.
- A track record of successfully managing programs with complex external partner integrations.
What This Role Is Not- Not a PMO Role: You aren't just architecting models for others; you are an active operator providing direct technical value-add to the execution.
- Not a People Management Role: This is a high-impact IC role reporting to the Senior Director of TPM.
- Not a "Plug-and-Play" Environment: You should not expect pre-existing structures. While we use Jira, you will be expected to build the tools and processes necessary to succeed in a rapidly evolving landscape.
