Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly technical and commercially astute Staff Technical Program Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of complex, high-value proposals and design wins for our Datacenter Building Block Solutions (DCBBS). This role is first and foremost a technical program management position-centered on orchestrating winning RFP responses, managing technical solutioning, and ensuring flawless delivery of rack-scale and AI-optimized infrastructure projects. Complementing this core TPM mandate, the role carries a meaningful Business Development component, requiring you to engage directly with customers, shape commercial strategies, and contribute to revenue growth through strategic deal support and relationship development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

(Primary - Technical Program & RFP Execution):
  • Lead End-to-End RFP & Technical Proposal Management
Own the full lifecycle of complex, strategic RFPs and technical proposals. Define project scope, create detailed work breakdown structures, and manage schedules, risk registers, and resource allocation to ensure on-time, high-quality submissions.
  • Orchestrate Cross-Functional Solution Development
Act as the central technical coordinator, bridging Sales, FAE, Hardware Design, Rack Integration, and Supply Chain teams. Translate customer workload requirements (AI/HPC) into coherent, executable technical architectures covering GPU platforms, power, cooling, and networking topologies.
  • Drive Technical Governance and Risk Mitigation
Lead technical review gates, ensuring proposal assumptions are validated, compliance matrices are met, and all technical dependencies (e.g., InfiniBand integration, thermal design) are clearly mapped and risk-assessed prior to bid submission.
  • Manage Solution Delivery Execution
Oversee the transition from proposal to implementation, ensuring technical commitments made during the RFP phase are executable. Manage delivery timelines, technical milestones, and change orders to ensure design wins translate into successful deployments.
  • Standardize Program Management for Scalability
Develop reusable templates, checklists, and project management frameworks for future RFP responses, improving efficiency and consistency across the DCBBS portfolio.

(Secondary - Business Development & Commercial Execution):
    • Drive Strategic Deal Support
Partner with senior sales and business development leaders to identify and pursue net-new logo opportunities. Contribute to commercial negotiations and help articulate the business value of DCBBS solutions to customer decision-makers.
    • Shape Customer-Facing Technical Strategy
Engage directly with target accounts to understand their infrastructure roadmaps, influence technical requirements, and position our solutions as the preferred choice for their AI and data center needs.
    • Build and Nurture Ecosystem Relationships
Develop trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders at strategic accounts and partner organizations, ensuring long-term alignment and repeat engagement.
    • Inform Go-to-Market Execution
Synthesize field intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to help refine commercial approaches and identify near-term revenue opportunities, while collaborating with Engineering and Operations to ensure market demands are met.

Qualifications:

  • Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field. MBA or advanced degree is a strong plus.
  • Experience (12+ years) with a strong emphasis on:
    • Technical Program/Project Management of complex data center or AI infrastructure projects, with significant hands-on experience managing RFPs, proposals, or large-scale technical bids.
    • Deep working knowledge of data center infrastructure (power, cooling, rack integration) and AI/HPC server architecture (GPU platforms, high-speed networking).
    • Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and manage technical deliverables against aggressive commercial timelines.
  • Skills
    • Strong commercial negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate business value and support proposal development.
    • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, focused on market penetration and revenue contribution.
    • Proficient at using market data, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to inform product and sales decisions.
    • Self-motivated team player who thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment and is measured by commercial outcomes.
