Staff Product Definition Manager - Software, AI & Platform

About the Role

We are seeking a Staff Product Definition Manager to lead the strategy, definition, and execution of our next-generation semiconductor test software platform for SLT (System-Level Test), Burn-In (BI), and ATE (Automated Test Equipment). This best-in-class platform, designed with built-in AI and cloud-native capabilities, will enable advanced analytics, automation, and scalability across the test ecosystem. A critical responsibility of this role is to define and drive the modernization of legacy software, ensuring smooth migration to cloud-ready deployments at OSATs and customer sites. As a senior leader, you will guide global teams in the US (California) and India (Chennai), foster cross-business-unit collaboration, and deliver an integrated platform that advances our leadership in semiconductor testing.

Key Responsibilities

-Lead and mentor global product definition teams in California and Chennai, driving alignment, collaboration, and execution excellence.
-Drive collaboration between electrical, thermal, firmware, software, and data teams to define high-impact feature capabilities and drive execution.
-Prepare and deliver updates to C-level executives, providing clear insights into strategy, progress, and outcomes.
-Define and deliver the next-generation semiconductor test software platform for SLT, BI, and ATE, leveraging the Microsoft technology stack (Python, C#, .NET, Blazor, Azure, GitHub, Apache Pulsar, OneImlx) with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
-Drive the migration of legacy test software into modern, cloud-native deployments for OSATs and enterprise-scale environments.
-Champion adoption of CI/CD, GitHub, microservices, and cloud deployment best practices.
-Manage cross-BU product integration, aligning roadmaps and strategies across software, hardware, and platform groups.
-Partner with engineering, product management, and architecture leaders to align strategy, execution, and delivery.

-Act as a thought leader in AI-enabled test analytics, software infrastructure modernization, and enterprise-scale platform solutions.
-Establish and enforce best practices in requirements definition, roadmap ownership, and stakeholder engagement.

-Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
-15+ years of experience in product definition, product management, software platforms, and cloud deployment.
-Expertise in software infrastructure modernization, AI/ML-enabled platforms, and enterprise-scale product deployments.
-Strong record of roadmap ownership, requirements management, and customer engagement.
-Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
-Certifications: SAFe Agilist (SAFe6), PMP, or equivalent program/product management certifications.
-Demonstrated ability to lead and define products for global teams in the US and India (California and Chennai preferred).
-Proven success in cross-BU collaboration and large-scale product execution.

- This is an on site role at out Lake Forest, CA office.

-Deep expertise with the Microsoft technology stack including C#, .NET, Blazor, Azure, GitHub, Docker, and Kubernetes.
-Previously handled and managed US and India Teams
-Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks, big data analytics, and enterprise platform integration.
-Proven ability to transform legacy systems into modern architectures at scale.
-Knowledge of semiconductor test workflows, particularly SLT, Burn-In, and ATE environments.
