Preference given to those with experience with any of the following: independent pharmacy practice, 340B program, custom medication packaging, immunizations, and mental health medications.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This list may not be all inclusive.)
- Accept, validate, interpret and process prescription orders.
- Initiate and complete calls with providers regarding appropriate drug therapy.
- Answer questions and provide information to pharmacy customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, storage of pharmaceuticals.
- Verify technician's preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals, order entries, charges, and inspections.
- Maintain established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs.
- Ensure pharmacy is compliant with best practices for 340B pharmacies.
- Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' work flow; verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceutical; verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
- Responsible for Formulary Management - including Therapeutic Interchange or Substitution, and Coverage Review Programs.

Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. required
Experience: Minimum 1-year experience
Certificate/License: Current state license to practice pharmacy
