Staff Nurse - RN - Behavioral Health Inpatient- Eating Disorder / 2 South - Day/Evenings

As a Staff Nurse on our Eating Disorder Unit, you'll play a vital role in helping adolescents and adults reclaim their health, restore hope, and build a path toward recovery. Working alongside patients and their loved ones, you'll deliver evidence-based care that supports healing of both mind and body, while fostering an environment where families feel informed, engaged, and empowered throughout the treatment journey.

This is a 40 hrs. full time (3x12-hours and additional 8 hours bi-weekly (7:00 am - 11:30 pm) day/evenings position, including weekend (Sat + Sun) coverage at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital / Westchester Behavioral Health.

Preferred Criteria

• At least one year of RN experience and/or capstone or a senior clinical rotation with a preceptor
• Nursing Certification/s.

Required Criteria

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
• BCLS certification
• Knowledge of nursing process: social, behavioral, biological and physical science
• Knowledge of current health care environment
• Knowledge of customer service principles
• Knowledge of effective interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of use of computer applications
• Ability to analyze patient care data to deliver and evaluate care
• New Grads must complete Nurse Residency Program

Salary Range:

$133,595-$153,220/Annual
