Staff EngineerJohnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc. is recruiting for a Staff Engineer, located in Jacksonville, FL.

Key Responsibilities:- Plans and executes moderately complex change control projects requiring conceptual evaluation, design and validation.
- Identifies, plans and executes complex change control projects requiring conceptual evaluation, design and validation.
- Identifies, plans and executes complex qualification of new equipment/controls and assists in vendor and site acceptance testing to meet engineering standards.
- Identifies and implements standard methodologies of project management.
- Participates in technical design reviews for machine requirements and manufacturing/product specifications.
- Supervises teams of outside designers, consultants, and contractors.
- Performs concept analysis of capital projects for future project development.
- Provides training and support to Operations Engineers and Technicians to operate, troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
- Identification and resolution of Corrective/Preventative actions to address Quality, Technical, and Manufacturing issues (Audit Actions, NCR's, CAPA's, etc).
- Utilizes cross functional collaboration with safety, quality, and operations to meet business objectives.
- Provides mentoring and technical guidance to junior level engineers, interns and/or co-ops.
- Displays deep technical expertise and influence within functional team and cross functionally.
- Serves as a change agent by creating a learning culture and experimental mindset within the department and organization to improve business performance.
QualificationsEducation:- University/Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent
Experience and Skills:Required:- 6 to 8 years of experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required.
- Ability to work in an empowered work team environment is required.
Preferred:- Operations experience in manufacturing, production supervision, front-line leading
- Experience working with vendors to select, source, quote, and procure off the shelf and custom designed components.
- Experience working in an ISO and FDA regulated environment.
