Job DescriptionEssential functions-essential functions, including how an individual is to perform them and the frequency with which the tasks are performed; the tasks must be part of the job function and truly necessary or required to perform the job.
Job duties to include but are not limited to;- Responsibility for maintaining, reconciling, and analyzing assigned general ledger accounts monthly.
- Lead the financial reporting and accounting activities of subsidiary companies, ensuring compliance with corporate accounting policies and GAAP requirements.
- Processing of journal entries and adjustments in relation to accounts included above, which will also require working with the Financial Services Department throughout the fiscal month.
- Support treasury functions including cash management, account analysis, and related reporting functions.
- Support internal and external audit processes to ensure compliance with policy and procedures
- Supporting internal controls framework and maintaining internal control documentation in relation to the general ledger
QualificationsEducation and Experience Education RequirementsRequired/Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Years of Experience: 3-5 years
Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- ERP experience, SAP Preferred
- Intermediate or above User of Excel and Microsoft Office programs
- Quickbooks
- Strong analytical skills, motivated, able to meet required deadlines, and detail-oriented
- The ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
