Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development
  • Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs and end users.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer accounts.
  • Generate and manage a sales pipeline to achieve revenue and profitability objectives.
  • Conduct customer visits, presentations, and application reviews.
  • Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial terms within company guidelines.

Customer & Technical Support
  • Partner with customers to understand thermal process, heating, airflow, controls, and performance requirements.
  • Evaluate customer specifications, operating conditions, and application constraints.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations on heater selection, system integration, and control strategies.
  • Support sales teams through customer meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on product development and custom designs.

Project Management
  • Coordinate customer projects from quotation through production and delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical and commercial communications.
  • Monitor project milestones, schedules, and customer expectations.
  • Ensure smooth transition of projects from sales to manufacturing and customer support.

Engineering
  • Perform application calculations, including:

• Heat transfer
• Airflow and pressure drop
• Temperature rise
• Power requirements
• Electrical loading
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications and applicable industry standards.
  • Assist with development of technical literature, application guides, and training materials.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • 3+ years of engineering, applications engineering, product engineering, or technical sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of:

• Heat transfer principles
• Thermodynamics
• Industrial electrical systems
• Controls and automation concepts
• Controls and automation concepts
  • Experience reading engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CAD software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel periodically to customer sites and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with electric heating technologies, thermal systems, HVAC, industrial process equipment, or industrial controls.
  • Knowledge of UL, CE, CSA, or related compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, temperature controls, and industrial automation.
  • Experience supporting OEM customers.
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks or similar CAD platforms.
  • Experience with custom-engineered industrial products.
