Job Summary

As a Sr. Technology Professional, you will be involved in the full systems life cycle and responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting application software and systems. Sr. Technology Professionals will work closely with Business Analysts and Group Product Managers to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and physical design of technical solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Will provide technical and/or business analysis in support of technology applications or infrastructure.
  • Analyzes simple to moderately complex inquiries and determines appropriate technical area or vendor to resolve problems and makes suggestions for improvements.
  • Responsible for executing smaller projects and/or support tasks and typically maintaining a high level of direct client interaction.
  • Works closely with management, clients, other systems technical staff and vendors in problem solving.
  • Consults with the supervisor and IT professionals when the appropriate course of action is unclear or a major problem is suspected.
  • They are responsible for operating and maintaining production systems, as well as providing hardware/software equipment support.
  • Provides technical support and guidance to client and systems areas through consulting, teaching and publication of documentation.
  • Participates with client and development areas in the design and implementation of new or modified LANs. Analyzes network problems, takes corrective action if possible and/or determines if vendor assistance is required. Initiates and coordinates corrective actions.
  • Performs related duties as assigned or requested.


This includes responsibility for multiple smaller applications and ensuring proper support, and problem resolution input for these applications.

Job Specific Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related technical field
  • 2+ years of experience within the IT field or an industry with reliance on technical expertise
  • Overall strong technical proficiency in information technology/computer disciplines
  • Experience working with or related coursework to write software code in both web and client/server environments such as:
    - Software Languages: Java, .Net, C, C++, HTML, XML, SQL, VBA, Node.js, Swift
    - Operating Systems: Windows, Linux
    - Relational Databases: SQL Server, Oracle, Aurora, Postgres, MongoDB
  • Experience designing graphical user interfaces using graphical design tools (e.g. Photoshop, MS Visio)
  • Strong MS Office skills, i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Self-starter with the demonstrated ability to learn new technical concepts quickly
  • Detail oriented and demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, IT management and staff
  • Good analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain working relationships with peers and clients
  • Good communications, consultative and interpersonal skills, including oral, written and presentation; teamwork, collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation, with the ability to work effectively with internal clients from various business organizations and lines of business, and IT management and staff
  • Ability to work in a 24x7 environment with callout availability
