Job Summary

Working with the SAP Security team, you will deliver SAP Security application support for a large, complex portfolio of SAP applications. Provides technical knowledge, thought leadership, and consultative support to the business client, IT management, developers and staff in risk assessments, architecture reviews, audits, configuration design, implementation and operational aspects of information security plans, procedures and products with a focus on the SAP environments including ECC, CRM, Business Warehouse, NetWeaver, GRC and other SAP based applications. This includes responsibility for the SAP systems and ensuring proper security support, and problem resolution input for the SAP applications.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain SAP security management and architecture practices across multiple SAP environments in addition to providing solution recommendations.
  • Advocate for exploring and leveraging standard solutions first.
  • Ensure compliance with government and corporate security/audit guidelines.
  • Administer and execute preventive security maintenance programs, oversee problem management, perform root cause analysis and corrective action plans, and administer and report on security SLAs.
  • Maintain SAP user management and security framework across multiple SAP environments in addition to providing solution recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with government and corporate security guidelines including Segregation of Duties (SoD), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) as appropriate, and Privacy related standards.
  • Implementation and ongoing maintenance of SAP security policies, processes, GRC, architecture, training, and communications.
  • Support the efforts to develop security build plans (security technology, operations, and management) to support the construction of the security architecture, ensuring that it meets the requirements and adhere to the related software guidelines.
  • May collaborate with IT Management, Legal, Safety and Security, Cyber Security and Law Enforcement agencies to address identified security vulnerabilities.
  • Create, manage and maintain user security awareness.
  • Conduct security research in keeping abreast of latest security issues.
  • Train and/or mentor other team members, peers and clients as appropriate.


Job Specific Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, i.e. STEM.
  • 1+ years of related work experience in the technology field.
  • 1+ years working with and supporting SAP Finance/Accounting applications with responsibility for security monitoring and oversite.
  • SAP experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP Security design, administration and configuration for finance suite of products.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Relevant technical acumen or experience in computer programming, development, application support and/or coding.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities through projects or other work planning experiences.
  • Knowledge of Finance, Accounting, and Procurement functions and relevant applications with possible technology alternatives.
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills, with the ability to foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity.
  • Ability to maintain strong client care relationships with integrity and follow through.
  • Self-starter with the demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technical concepts.
  • High Level Access background check required.
  • 24 X 7 callout availability required.
  • Department of Energy's regulation 10 CFR 810 is required.


Desired
  • Technical/software certification such as AWS certification, etc.
  • Understanding of and experience in IT project management methodologies, requirement management, quality assurance and IT processes.
  • Understanding of basic financial principles including experience with project financial budgeting and planning.
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).
  • Graduate degree.
  • Experience with ITIL & CMMI.
