We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Senior Talent Acquisition Partner based in our Irvine, CA location*. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Supervisor, this role will manage a diverse portfolio of corporate/support functions, which may include Supply Chain, Purchasing, Food Safety & Quality Assurance, Laboratory, Quality Control, Marketing, and Marketing Communications, with roles ranging from entry through senior-level positions. The Senior TAP will act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, drive innovative sourcing strategies, and elevate the overall recruitment experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders.

*This position is full-time, in-office only.

General Responsibilities

  • Strategic Talent Partnership
  • Build strong consultative relationships with hiring managers and senior leadership to develop proactive hiring strategies.
  • Lead intake meetings to define hiring needs, develop sourcing strategies, and establish clear timelines.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, advising stakeholders on market trends, talent availability, compensation insights, and best practices for talent selection and retention.
  • Provide hiring managers with data-driven recommendations to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Full-Cycle Recruiting & Candidate Experience
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for entry-to-senior level roles, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.
  • Proactively source passive candidates through LinkedIn, ATS, Boolean queries, industry networking, and targeted outreach.
  • Build and maintain pipelines of talent for future hiring needs.
  • Conduct in-depth screenings and interviews to assess technical skills, competencies, and cultural fit.
  • Own the candidate experience, ensuring a seamless and positive journey from application to onboarding.
  • Talent Market Expertise & Employer Branding
  • Identify and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent in competitive markets.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with vocational schools, professional associations, and community organizations.
  • Represent In-N-Out Burger as an employer of choice at industry events, job fairs, networking opportunities, and speaking engagements.
  • Leverage market intelligence to provide insights on compensation trends, hiring challenges, and industry best practices.
  • Process Improvement & Collaboration
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize recruitment processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders such as Compensation, Payroll, and HR leadership to drive alignment on offers, hiring decisions, and workforce planning.
  • Lead and contribute to special projects related to recruitment operations, employer branding, candidate engagement, and technology enhancements.


Work Schedule + Benefits

  • Full-time, Salary, Exempt
  • Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
  • Occasional travel required to corporate offices and satellite locations in CA and TN, depending on business needs.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2 years in a strategic talent advisory role.
  • Experience managing multiple high-priority searches across diverse functional areas and levels, with the ability to quickly learn new talent markets and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • This is an in-house recruiting role, strong sourcing and relationship management skills are required, but experience in agency recruiting or executive search is a plus
  • Proven ability to build relationships at all levels, influence hiring decisions, and drive results.
  • Strong sourcing expertise with experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and passive talent outreach.
  • Ability to analyze hiring trends and market data to drive hiring strategies.
  • Experience managing multiple high-priority searches with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.


Work Location Details

In-N-Out Burger plans to bring its west coast headquarters team back together under one roof by the end of 2029. After maintaining two Southern California office locations for many years, the company will permanently close its Irvine office in 2029 and once again headquarter the company's western territory solely in Baldwin Park, California, where the company was founded in 1948.

Newly hired Associates in Irvine will be eligible to participate in the group move to Tennessee with relocation assistance or work from our western headquarters in Baldwin Park, CA, upon its opening in 2029.
