About the Role Marvell is seeking a seasoned Senior Principal Program Manager to lead the delivery of next-generation optical engines within semiconductor solutions built on industry-leading process technologies. The Cloud Optics organization develops advanced optical connectivity solutions that enable the performance, scalability, and efficiency required in modern cloud and AI data centers. Our portfolio spans high-bandwidth optical interconnects across intra-data center, campus, and data center interconnect (DCI) applications, leveraging technologies such as PAM4 optical DSPs, coherent-lite DSPs, co-packaged optical engines, and DCI optical modules. ________________________________________ What You’ll Do • Lead end-to-end program execution for a portfolio of optical solutions, from concept through production ramp • Translate design specifications into fully realized products, ensuring execution aligns with technical and business objectives • Drive alignment across cross-functional teams, including photonics design, analog design, packaging, planning/supply management, DVT, qual, and finance • Coordinate and deconflict multiple concurrent workstreams to ensure on-time, on-budget, and on-spec delivery • Manage key program milestones including: o Test and evaluation o Reliability qualification o Customer sampling o Production acceptance and ramp • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, ensuring transparency and proactive issue resolution • Provide clear, structured program communication and reporting to various stakeholders such as: engineering, operations, and executive leadership • Drive clarity across schedules, material readiness, and operational priorities ________________________________________ What Makes This Role Unique • Ownership extends beyond a single ASIC tapeout to complex, multi-disciplined system delivery • Direct impact on cutting-edge optical technologies enabling next-generation cloud and AI infrastructure • High visibility role with regular engagement with senior executives and technical leaders What You Can Expect •This a full time role with the expectation to be in the office 5 days a week •Participate in a project during its Planning and Execution phases per Marvell’s Product and IP Lifecycle Processes. •Participate in cross-functional project planning sessions •Establish and maintain through regular project update meetings •Participate in weekly cross-functional meetings •Project Schedule reporting including identification and communication of delays •Project resource plan including identification and communication of gaps •Internal and external project inter-dependencies including identification and communication of misalignments •Project risk management plan including identification and communication of mitigations •Demonstrate strong cross-functional participation with ability to coordinate and motivate teams across multiple development sites. •Communicate effectively to the project team up through executives with top quality presentations. •Own end‑to‑end program delivery, including initiation, strategic planning, tracking, and execution of complex optical programs What We're Looking For •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master’s or PhD a plus) •Significant industry experience, preferred 10+ years (8+ with a Master’s, 6+ with a PhD) •5+ years of Project Management / Program management experience in the semiconductor industry •Exceptional leadership, time management, and organizational skills •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Strong risk identification, analysis, and problem-solving abilities •Proven ability to make strategic decisions that meet both internal objectives and customer requirements •Demonstrated ability to program manage multiple concurrent development efforts, driving the successful delivery of silicon subsystems as well as final client product •Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or other project management software •Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, JIRA •Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills, including ability to work with cross-functional teams Expected Base Pay Range (USD) 132,610 - 198,600, $ per annum The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
