As a Senior Software Quality Engineer within Validation Services, you will help engineer software quality for enterprise-level products, with a core focus on automating testing workflows. Working within a fast-paced Agile development environment, you will contribute hands-on expertise to test strategy, automation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement while partnering closely with software engineering and other technical teams. What You’ll Be Doing
  • Serve as a senior test designer and hands-on contributor, defining test strategies, scoping test efforts, and reviewing product requirements and engineering specifications as part of the Agile planning cycle.

  • Develop and maintain repeatable automated testing solutions and QA test plans based on functional requirements, use cases, user interface designs, system designs, and domain knowledge.

  • Help establish test methodology and automation practices that support parallel development of enterprise software and automated test suites, including integration with development and DevOps workflows.

  • Partner with software engineers, QA team members, and system and database administrators to investigate test failures using techniques such as SQL queries and analysis of web and application server logs.

  • Test software across relevant platforms, including mobile applications, while helping improve automation coverage, test reliability, and overall software quality.

  • Provide technical or team leadership by sharing quality engineering expertise, supporting junior team members, and helping teams resolve complex testing and automation challenges.

What We Look For

  • 8+ years of related experience in enterprise software testing or quality engineering.

  • Strong hands-on experience with test automation and familiarity with manual and automated testing tools and approaches.

  • Experience testing software on mobile platforms and working within Agile development environments.

  • Experience troubleshooting complex test failures across application, database, and test environments; practical SQL and log-analysis experience is valuable.

  • Familiarity with cloud automation and DevOps practices, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), is an advantage.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adjust effectively to changing priorities and collaborate across technical teams.
