Sr. Software (DevOps) Developer:

Location: Waterloo, ON - FULL TIME IN-OFFICE

What the role offers:
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery of OT Capture Product and related microservices.
  • Automate environment provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
  • Support and enhance multi-tier Capture platforms, including Core Capture, Pixtools, and integration components.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for Capture systems to ensure high availability, performance, and rapid incident response.
  • Manage backup, archival, and disaster recovery processes for content repositories and metadata databases.
  • Containerize Capture components and manage deployments on Kubernetes/OpenShift or similar orchestration platforms.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to streamline release cycles and ensure smooth delivery of Capture features and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the Capture stack, including ingestion pipelines, performance, Capture flow execution, and API integrations.
  • Perform routine maintenance, patching, and upgrades of Capture platforms and supporting infrastructure.
  • Contribute to cloud migration efforts and design scalable Capture architectures using AWS/Azure/GCP services.


What you need to Succeed:
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or similar).
  • Background supporting Enterprise level Capture platforms (e.g., OpenText, Tungsten, Abby).
  • Proficiency with containerization and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Solid understanding of Linux administration, networking principles, and secure infrastructure design.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and services on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with complex, distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of version control, branching strategies, and DevOps best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.

Salary Range: $98,080.00 - $147,120.00; Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
