YOUR IMPACT

The Senior Manager, Corporate Communications, will join a dynamic internal communications team whose mission is to build and sustain an engaged, inspired and connected workforce around the world. This role will partner closely with functional teams at OpenText to deliver strategic internal communications campaigns in support of executive and departmental goals.
The ideal candidate is a strategic communicator who can balance executive counsel with hands-on execution, managing high-impact communication multi-channel programs including town halls, leadership messaging, external comms, organizational announcements, and employee engagement initiatives. This role plays a critical part in helping employees understand the company's vision, business priorities, and their role in delivering client impact.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

Reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate Communications, the individual in this high-visibility, high-impact role must be a strong communications manager with the ability to effectively manage and execute multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
Primary responsibilities include:

Strategic Communications Support
• Develop and execute comprehensive internal communications strategies that support product organization objectives and business priorities.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and other functional leaders to create communications plans that drive understanding, alignment, and engagement.
• Advise leaders on effective communication approaches during periods of growth, transformation, organizational change, and major product milestones.
• Ensure communications are aligned to corporate narrative, leadership priorities, and company culture.
• Track results and apply key learnings to improve future communications, content and engagement

Development and Digital Executive and Leadership Communications
• Serve as a trusted communications advisor to senior product and engineering leaders.
• Develop executive communications including presentations, talking points, key messages, employee updates, and leadership announcements.
• Prepare leaders for both external engagements (speaking opps, media interviews, presentations) and employee-facing engagements, ensuring messaging is clear, authentic, and impactful.
• Drive consistency in leadership communications across teams and functions.

Employee Engagement and Events
• Own the strategy and execution of internal events including town halls, all-hands meetings, leadership forums, and employee Q&A sessions.
• Develop communications programs that foster employee engagement, transparency, and organizational connection.
• Create opportunities for two-way dialogue between leaders and employees.
• Measure engagement and continuously improve communications effectiveness.

Product Communications and Change Management
• Lead 360 communications plan for product launches, business updates, and significant organizational initiatives.
• Develop change communications strategies that help employees understand and successfully navigate change.
• Translate complex product, technical, and business information into accessible and compelling employee, media and client communications.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and coordinated communication delivery.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
• 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, employee communications, or related fields.
• Experience interfacing with senior executives in developing and executing communication plans
• Prior management of cross-functional projects and work streams
• Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills are essential
• Exceptionally organized and detail oriented, with a knack for planning and prioritization

Salary Range: $110,960 - $160-960;Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
