Full Job Description

This Sr Security Application Support Engineer is primarily focused on Identity Management (IDM), with application support responsibilities for SafeBreach and DTEX, while also providing broader infrastructure subject matter expertise for routine projects, operational initiatives, and production support activities. You are also responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and ongoing stability of security and infrastructure technologies in alignment with established controls, standards, and best practices. Additionally you provide technical expertise to design, implement, support, and optimize security-related infrastructure technologies and applications.

You work on complex production, project, and operational issues; resolve incidents through root cause analysis; recommend solutions aligned with standards and roadmaps; and provide technical guidance to infrastructure teams during project delivery and support operations. You combine strong application support capability with infrastructure knowledge, independent decision-making, and leadership in addressing both immediate operational needs and longer-term business challenges.

How you’ll succeed

  • Application Support for Identity Management and Safebreach platform - You provide day-to-day application support for the organization’s Identity Management platform and SafeBreach platform used for breach and attack simulation. Support user provisioning, deprovisioning, access modifications, and role changes in line with approval workflows and security policies. Investigate and resolve access-related incidents, including onboarding, offboarding, entitlement issues, and authentication failures. Monitor IDM jobs, connectors, synchronization processes, and scheduled tasks to ensure successful execution. Support role-based access control, access recertification, and identity governance processes. Act as Level 2 / Level 3 application support for security applications. Handle incidents, service requests, problem tickets, and production support tasks within SLA targets. Perform proactive monitoring, health checks, and issue prevention activities.
  • Platform Upgrades - Support platform upgrades, patching validation, configuration changes, and release testing. Provide application support for the SafeBreach platform used for breach and attack simulation. Monitor platform health, scheduled simulations, and alerting functionality. Assist with troubleshooting failed scenarios, integration issues, and environment connectivity problems. Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to validate findings and support remediation tracking. Help maintain test coverage, simulation scheduling, and platform availability. Support reporting and operational follow-up for identified security control gaps. Provide operational and application support for the DTEX platform.
  • Investigate Platform Issues - Monitor data collection, agent health, telemetry flow, and integration performance. Investigate platform issues, user activity visibility gaps, and support-related incidents. Assist with troubleshooting policy/configuration issues and escalations involving endpoint or data ingestion problems. Coordinate with security, endpoint, and infrastructure teams to maintain stable platform operations. Support reporting, dashboard availability, and platform user access administration where applicable. Participate in change management, deployment support, and post-implementation validation
  • Collaboration - Work with application owners, HR teams, infrastructure teams, and security teams to resolve identity lifecycle issues. Liaise with vendors and internal technical teams for escalations and permanent fixes.
  • Audit Readiness - Assist in maintaining audit readiness, access control evidence, and compliance-related reporting. Participate in root cause analysis for recurring identity and access issues. Maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, SOPs, and runbooks. Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes, automation, and operational efficiency. Support compliance, risk, and audit requests related to supported platforms.

Who you are

  • You can demonstrate experience in. Application Support for Identity Management. Your core technical skills must include strong experience in Identity Management (IDM) support, RBAC / entitlements, Identity governance, authentication and authorization concepts. experience in application support for enterprise security tools and with SafeBreach and DTEX administration or production support is relevant. You must have an understanding of incident, problem, and change management processes, experience with logs, monitoring tools, dashboards, and troubleshooting methodologies along with basic knowledge of scripting or automation tools is helpful.
  • You are analytical. You bring strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with strong documentation and reporting capability.
  • You are a strong communicator. Expert interpersonal, communication (oral and written) and problem-solving skills, including effective engagement with all levels of the organization. Ability to work with cross-functional teams including security, infrastructure, IAM, and vendors.
